Here is where I begin.

I started this blog right after the Pittsburgh Steelers won the Super Bowl.  And here’s the reason why:

First, let me just say, that was a damn good game!  An emotional rollercoaster!  Too bad one team had to lose. Moving on…

As the Steelers are presented the Lombardi trophy and Dan Patrick is talking to Steelers’ owner Dan Rooney, Mr. Rooney starts thanking people.  He thanks the usual folks, the players, the coaches, the fans, the water boy, etc.  But then he went ahead and thanked President Obama.  I was floored.  Really, Mr. Rooney?  You’re thanking Barack Obama???  He contributed to the Steelers winning the Super Bowl?  Jeez.  At that moment I knew what I pretty much already knew.  Like most of the country, and 95% of the people I know, Mr. Rooney had contracted Obama fever.  Am I the only person that is immune to this?  Am I like Will Smith’s character in I Am Legend?!?  Am I the only one not infected?

Whatever.  You want to love on Obama?  Go for it, Mr. Rooney.  Way to force feed  politics to those of us die hard sports fans that are absolutely sick of it.  Who give’s a rat’s ass who Barack Obama is pulling for?  Unless of course, there were people out there that pulled for the Steelers because Obama was.  Ugh.

Anyway, my frustration led to this blog.  Feel free to chime in on how you’re an Obamaniac and how wrong I am for not wanting to make love to the man, or if you are like me, and not drinking the kool-aid.

For the record, here is my official stance on Barack Obama:  Let the man do his job.  If the man produces positive results, awesome.  I won’t, however, cover my car with Obama bumper stickers.

I am sick of Barack Obama.  Seriously.  Enough already.
